We are delighted to welcome you to the charming Happy Island. Located in the heart of the university district, vibrant during the day and peaceful at night, you can enjoy our cozy accommodations and all the amenities we offer.
We have recently renovated the rooms, which feature a private bathroom equipped with a toilet-bidet, sink, and shower.
Ideal for both business travelers and tourists, thanks to our proximity to subway and train stations.
Included in the price are: breakfast, bed linens with changes every 3 days, free Wi-Fi, air conditioning or heating, access to the coffee maker and kettle, and a TV in the room.
The windows in the rooms come with mosquito nets and double glazing. Children up to 3 years old stay for free, while those aged 3 to 10 pay 50% of the rate.
Check-in is available from 2 PM to 9 PM (to be arranged prior to arrival). Check-out must be completed by 11 AM. You can store your luggage on the day of arrival from 9 AM and until 7 PM on the day of departure.
Please note that the city tax is not included in the price (starting from October 1, 2023, it is 6 euros per day per person for guests over 10 years old).

Not only to start the day, but also for any moment when you need a little refreshment, the common area offers various services. You will find a Nespresso machine, a kettle for tea, and fresh drinks in the fridge. For breakfast, we will provide you with fruit juices, milk, snacks, biscuits, toast, honey, hazelnut creams, and jams. You will also have bread for toast, yogurt, dried fruits, cereals, oranges for juicing, and other pastries on rotation. You can make coffee with capsules, a moka pot, or the instant version. Among other available beverages, there are also chamomile and barley. Our breakfasts can be conveniently packaged in individual servings. If you wish, we can also offer a gluten-free breakfast, just request it in advance.

We are located just 100 meters from Bologna station on Line B of the subway, from where you can reach Termini and the city center in just a few minutes. Furthermore, just 500 meters away is Tiburtina station, from where you can reach Fiumicino airport in just 45 minutes by train. Within 100 meters of our establishment, you will find bus stops 61 and 62 that will take you directly to the city center. Only 500 meters away is the prestigious La Sapienza University and the renowned Umberto I hospital. In Piazza Bologna and the immediate vicinity, you will find a post office, local shops, and delightful famous pastry shops. Just a few minutes' walk from our establishment, strolling through the charming villas around Piazza Bologna, you will have the opportunity to visit Villa Torlonia, a splendid park that has been completely restored to the city in recent years. In addition to the villa and its beautiful gardens, you can visit the House of the Owls, the Moorish Greenhouse, and for the younger ones, there is TechnoTown, an educational experience on science and technology with ever-changing exhibitions and events.
